Morritstown Yeshiva Remembers Reb Meilech

Hundreds packed the Berger auditorium at the Rabbinical College of America to commemorate the third Yartzeit of Reb Meilach Zweibel on 19 Cheshvan.

On the eve of Chof Cheshvan, Anash, Rabbanim, Bochurim, family and friends all gathered together to share memories and inspiration about the illustrious Mashpia so beloved by all.

Rabbi Chaim Schapiro, Menahel of the Yeshiva, opened the event with speaking about Reb Meilach’s continued effect on the Yeshiva today, and about Reb Meilachs immense Hiskashrus to the Rebbe; which is something that we can all learn from, especially nearing 70 years of the Rebbe’s Nesius.

Rabbi Moshe Herson, dean of the RCA and director of Chabad of New Jersey, shared some memories of Reb Meilech, and reflected on Reb Meilach’s care and devotion to every Bochur in yeshivah.

Family members also spoke about their memories of Reb Meilach and his broad knowledge of Torah; Nigleh and Chassidus.

Being that the Yartzeit fell out (behashgocha pratis) on the Siyum of Sefer Kedusha and the Haschala of Sefer Haflaah, a Siyum was made by the bochurim.

A special Teshurah was disturbed to all participants, including a letter from the Rebbe to Reb Meilach as a Bochur, when he learnt in Tomchei Temimim in Lod.
