Montreal Tomchei Temimim Zal is launching an exciting slate of initiatives aimed at enriching the Chassid Lamdan and Yirey Shamayim aspects of each bochur—while maintaining one of the most affordable tuition rates among comparable yeshivos in North America.
Rooted in the Rebbe’s vision of developing authentic Chayalim, Montreal Zal has become a home for bochurim seeking depth, sincerity, and an authentic yeshiva experience. This year, the hanhala is introducing a dynamic range of programming that reflects that mission in action.
Among the new initiatives:
• Monthly Scholar Panels – Open discussions with Rabbonim, mashpi’im on topics relevant to bochurim today, blending timeless values with contemporary insight.
• Hands-On Presentations – Workshops on Safrus, Shechita, and mental health awareness will give bochurim exposure to practical aspects of Halacha and personal well-being.
• Expanded English-Language Seforim Library – To support greater accessibility in learning, the yeshiva is curating a growing collection of English seforim across Chassidus, Halacha, Divrei Yemay Yisrael, and more.
• Daily Shiurim in Tanach and Sha’ar HaBitachon – In addition to core Gemara studies, structured shiurim in fundamental areas will broaden students’ Torah worldview and strengthen Bitachon.
• Weekly Bochurim-Led Chaburos – Empowering talmidim to take initiative, weekly chaburos will foster peer-to-peer learning and leadership.
• Special Guest Farbrengens – Frequent guest mashpi’im and farbrengers will energize the yeshiva calendar and create powerful moments of inspiration throughout the year.
In a time when many families struggle with yeshiva costs, Montreal Zal is committed to remaining affordable without compromising quality.
“Affordability is not just a number for us,” said a hanhala member. “It’s part of our commitment to being inclusive—to accept every Tomim, regardless of background or means.”
