On Tuesday Rosh Chodesh Tammuz, the Yeshiva in Montreal held a unique award presentation celebrating the accomplishments of the approximately 60 boys that excelled in the Chidon earlier this year.
On Tuesday Rosh Chodesh Tammuz, the Yeshiva in Montreal held a unique award presentation celebrating the accomplishments of the approximately 60 boys that excelled in the Chidon Hamitzvos earlier this year.
All 60 boys had studied and passed all the three tests to qualify for the chidon Shabbaton, which ultimately was postponed due to the pandemic. Many of the boys also passed the chidon final which was held on-line shortly before Pesach.
Using the ‘drive-through’ idea, each boy was presented with his plaque, and some also received a medal. The boys then had their picture taken, together with their proud parents, in front of the yeshiva building on Westbury Ave.
