Montreal Boys Interview the Rebbe’s ‘Wedding Guests’

From interviewing the Rebbe’s ‘wedding guests,’ to talmidim dressing up as Chassidim, and live music, jugglers, and joyous dancing, the simcha of Yud Daled Kislev was truly felt in Tomchei Tmimim Montreal.

Yud Daled Kislev was celebrated with true simcha on Yud Daled Kislev in yeshiva.

Rabbi Schneur’s Kita Vav put on an amazing play, based on the JEM curriculum for 14 Kislev, where the boys interviewed all sorts of ‘guests’ from the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s wedding—everyone from the janitors who prepared the hall to the train conductors who brought the Rebbe there, and more. They even created beautiful backdrops to bring the scenes to life.

Meanwhile, Rabbi Doron’s class set up a phenomenal dance floor with live music led by our very own Shmuel Meir Silberstein and Shalom Ben-Shimon. The boys, dressed as chassidim, danced and sang on stage, and everyone joined in with true joy. We even had jugglers and photographers capturing it all. It was a truly beautiful simcha where the boys really felt the happiness of the Rebbe’s wedding day.

Additionally, Kitas Vav and Zayin had dancing & doughnuts in the morning after their Shacharis minyan, led by Rabbi Lavi Klein.

A special thank you to Rabbi Mendy Bresinger for arranging this special program, and to Efraim Bolonin for the pictures.
