Cheder Chabad of Monsey Girls’ and Preschool divisions had their very own parade on Lag B’omer. Now a steadfast tradition, the kids have their own parade around the large school grounds, marching with signs and floats all made by the students themselves.
The day started with a rally led by Rabbi Yossi Gluckowsky, shliach to Closter, NJ, and a cheder parent. After Rabbi Gluckowsky explained to the children the significance of Lag B’omer, the girls recited the 12 pesukim followed by Tehillim.
The rally was followed by a carnival with amazing activities, and delicious treats. All the children had an amazing time.
“Thank you to our dedicated sponsors who made this event possible, and for putting a smile on all our girl’s faces,” the organizers said.
“Thank you to Cheder Chabad girl’s school principal Mrs. Chaya Rosenbluh for tirelessly arranging and organizing the event.”
