Hundreds gathered in Monsey last night for a melave malka arranged by Heichal Menachem Monsey, marking the yortzeit of the Mezritcher Maggid and the chag hageulah of the Alter Rebbe.

The main speaker by the event was Harav Menachem Mendel Gluckowsky, Rov of the Lubavitcher community in Rechovot, and member of the Beis Din Rabbonei Chabad in Israel.

Also participating and speaking were Harav Betzalel Wettenstein, rov of the Belz community in Monsey, Rabbi Efraim Piekarski, mashpia in the yeshiva in Morristown, and Rabbi Moshe Gourarie, editor of Chassidus Mevueres and mashpia in Pomona.

The participants also enjoyed live music, with niggunim being sung by the Rabin brothers, and a sale on sifrei Chassidus with prices subsidized by Heichal Menachem.

The official program was followed by a farbrengen with Rabbi Gluckowsky which lasted for many hours into the night.

Before each participant left, they were handed a teshura, a booklet containing a perek Tanya with Chassidus Mevueres from the upcoming volume.
