A stunning audio production for Chof Zayin Adar includes stories and recollections of Chassidim who experienced those precious moments in the Rebbe’s presence in 5752.
The year 5752 was an exceptional one.
From the start, it was clear that it would be exponentially unique. The number of hours the Rebbe spent in the presence of Chassidim, distributing things and reciting sichos in numbers that far surpassed anything seen in the years prior, and the extraordinary focus on the imminent coming of Moshiach.
On Purim Katan of that year, the Rebbe stood for hours and handed out the maamar “Ve’ata Tetzaveh” edited by the Rebbe, to thousands of men, women, and children, along with a dollar for tzedakah and lekach.
As it would turn out, this maamar was the last one we would merit to receive from the Rebbe.
Less than two weeks later, on Chof Zayin Adar, the Rebbe had a stroke while visiting the Ohel.
The day marks the onset of he’elem vehester that continues to this day, where we no longer see and hear the Rebbe.
As part of A Chassidisher Derhers expanding activities, they have introduced ‘Moments’ – an immersive audio experience of the year 5752.
It is a stunning audio production that includes the stories and recollections of some of the Chassidim who experienced those precious moments of the final months leading up to Chof Zayin Adar in the Rebbe’s presence.

The article states that: “The day marks the onset of he’elem vehester that continues to this day, where we no longer see and hear the Rebbe.”
I must mention that the Rebbe appeared briefly in public until the next Chof Zayin Adar, beginning with Simchas Torah 5752.
During this period, although the Rebbe hardly spoke, the Giluyim on one hand seemed to intensify. The Rebbe went though great Mesiras Nefesh to encourage the singing to bring the Geulah. Furthermore, the rebbe responded to shluchim who were intensifying matters pertaining Inyonei Geulah Umoshiach in a more positive and less restrictive manner than before.
Overall, I am trying to bring to light the “missing year of 5752” that seems to have been wiped blank from Chabad history.
