MIDF: Strengthening the Spirit of the IDF with Mitzvos

Since October 7th, MIDF (Mitzvos for the IDF) has provided soldiers on the front lines with spiritual strength to match their physical courage. Now, with Purim approaching, a campaign is being launched to provide Mishloach Manos for the soldiers, bringing them joy, strength, and a tangible connection to their Yiddishkeit.

Since October 7th, the soldiers of the IDF have been on the front lines, standing in defense of Am Yisrael. They give their all to protect our people, and at MIDF (Mitzvos for the IDF), founded by R’ Dovid Caytak, we ensure they have the spiritual strength to match their physical courage.

MIDF is dedicated to providing soldiers with everything they need to stay connected to their Yiddishkeit, from mezuzahs to tefillin, tzitzis, and sefarim. We have already:

  • Put up thousands of mezuzahs on bases and in military zones, ensuring protection for our soldiers.
  • Distributed hundreds of pairs of tefillin, allowing soldiers to fulfill this vital mitzvah even in the midst of battle.
  • Given out thousands of pairs of tzitzis, offering soldiers an extra layer of both spiritual and physical protection.

Now, with Purim approaching, our mission continues. We need to ensure that soldiers can experience the joy and kedusha of the Yom Tov, no matter where they are stationed.

Mishloach Manos for Soldiers on the Front Lines

For a soldier in the IDF, receiving Mishloach Manos from fellow Jews around the world is more than just a package of food—it is a powerful reminder that Klal Yisroel stands with them. Every box they receive is a message of love, support, and unity, letting them know they are not alone.

Imagine the impact of a soldier, exhausted from weeks on the front lines, opening a package and seeing that someone far away took the time to think of them, to care, and to send them something special for Purim. This chizuk is priceless.

How You Can Help

We are launching a fundraising campaign to provide Mishloach Manos for as many soldiers as possible. With your help, we can bring joy, strength, and a tangible connection to their Yiddishkeit right where they need it most.
