After decades of in-depth shiurim, Rabbi Leibel Schapiro, longtime Rosh Yeshiva of the Lubavitch Yeshiva in Miami, published a prestigious 550-page volume containing his profound and thought-provoking shiurim on Maseches Kiddushin, titled “Imrei Leiv.”
In his shiurim, Rabbi Schapiro goes beyond simply explaining each sugya. He uncovers the fundamental ideas behind the laws, showing how different areas of Torah connect in ways that aren’t always obvious. By getting to the root of each topic, he clarifies difficult questions and brings new insights into age-old discussions.
His shiurim are based on the darkei halimud of great geonim, including Reb Chaim Brisker, the Rogatchover Gaon, and, of course, the Rebbe. Rabbi Schapiro had the privilege of helping record and write several volumes of Likutei Sichos, and his own approach reflects that influence.
The newly published Imrei Leiv, spanning 550 full-size pages, offers deep discussions and innovative ideas on Masechet Kiddushin. Many challenging topics that have puzzled lomdim for generations are now illuminated with fresh clarity and depth.
A big thanks goes to Rabbi Dovid Avraham Mandelbaum, who worked tirelessly to edit the book and present the shiurim in a clear and structured way, making them accessible to a wider audience.
This sefer is an exciting contribution to Torah scholarship, and, b’ezras Hashem, more volumes featuring Rabbi Schapiro’s shiurim on other masechtos will be published in the future.
The sefer will soon be available in Judaica world and Kehos.
