Mesivta Oholei Torah has joyfully opened its doors for a new Shnas Halimudim, welcoming hundreds of talmidim into an atmosphere of growth in Torah, Chassidus, and Chassidishe hanhogo.

Under the leadership of Menahel Rabbi Moshe Silman, the Mesivta continues to thrive with two flourishing divisions: Shiur Alef, guided by Sgan Menahel Rabbi Eli Oster, and Shiur Beis–Gimmel, led by Sgan Menahel Rabbi Zalman Laufer. Each division enjoys its own floor and zal, fostering a focused and immersive learning environment for every talmid.

The expansive Greenwald Campus on Remsen Avenue provides the perfect balance of rigorous learning and healthy recreation. With spacious batei midrash, classrooms, and a state-of-the-art mikvah, alongside a full gym, outdoor sports field, and comfortable dormitory facilities, talmidim are immersed in an ideal setting for holistic development. Together, these resources nurture the spiritual growth, personal wellbeing, and Chassidishe avodah of each bochur as they embark on another year of Limud HaTorah and becoming true Chassidim and Temimim.

  1. So what comes to mind when seeing these sights,
Is the story which the rebbe once asked someone who wad visiting argentina if he can please visit the mosdos, and can he bring back the rebbe a report,

The man turned go the rebbe and aked: but rebbe,
I dont understand in chinuch.. and how would i know if they are doinh well?

The rebbe responded: no, all i want to know is if the students have a smile on their face .

When we think of chinuch, we tend to think of rules, tests, implementinh yiras shamayim,

But the rebbe is showing us that we got it all wrong…

We are looking at the wrong aspects.

A yid has to be besimcha,
And if he is besimcha, then all the good things will come
