Mendy Jaffe, a beloved resident of Crown Heights, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, 1 Adar.

He was 43.

Mendy was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a very kind and warmhearted soul, known for his radiant smile and the countless favors he naturally and generously extended to others.

He was hardworking and conscientious, honest and sincere, loyal and deeply dedicated to those privileged to know him. Educated in United Lubavitcher Yeshiva, he carried himself with strong faith in Hashem and a quiet strength that touched many.

He was deeply beloved, and will forever remain so. He will be sorely and painfully missed.

He is survived by his parents, Rivka Roitblat and Bentzion Yehoshua Jaffe, and his siblings Yechiel Moshe Jaffe, Nechama Dina Jaffe, Devorah Leah Jaffe, Dovid Tzvi Jaffe, and Aryeh Nachman Jaffe.

The levaya will take place today, passing by 770 at 12 PM, with kevrua near the Ohel at 1 PM.
