Over 40 teens from the Lubavitch Boys Minyan of Manchester travelled to Llandudno, Wales, this past Shabbos for a memorable Shabbaton filled with spiritual growth, camaraderie, and adventure.
The inspiring weekend was led by Rabbi Levi Wineberg together with Mr. Max Cohen, bringing together boys for an uplifting Shabbos experience focused on strengthening their connection to Yiddishkeit and to one another.
The Lubavitch Boys Minyan, which meets weekly at Lubavitch House, is led by Rabbi Levi Wineberg with the dedicated assistance of Zalman Coleman. The Minyan provides boys aged 13–18 with the opportunity to lead davening and lein, helping them develop confidence and pride in their Yiddishkeit in a warm, supportive, and positive environment.
Throughout the Shabbaton, the boys participated in meaningful davening, engaging fabrengens, and lively Shabbos meals. The meals were filled with inspiring divrei Torah, spirited singing, games, and delicious food, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere. The weekend also gave the boys the opportunity to step back from the fast-paced demands of daily teenage life and take time for reflection and connection.
In addition to the spiritual programming, the boys enjoyed exploring the beautiful surroundings of Llandudno. Activities included walks along the scenic beachfront, football games, and even a climb up the Great Orme, adding a sense of adventure and bonding to the Shabbaton.
The Shabbaton was organized by Mr. Max and Leah Cohen, whose ongoing dedication and support play a vital role in the Boys Minyan throughout the year. They were joined by Rabbi Levi Wineberg and five older boys who served as madrichim, helping ensure a meaningful and memorable experience for all participants.
The weekend left the boys inspired, energized, and already looking forward to the next opportunity to come together.
