Los Angeles Celebrates Siyum Sefer Torah for the Children
Under a shared sky and with hearts wide open, families, students, and staff came together this past Sunday for a Siyum Sefer Torah by Bais Chaya Mushka and Cheder Menachem in Los Angeles.
This past Sunday, the Los Angeles community was zocheh to a moment that felt bigger than time itself.
Under a shared sky and with hearts wide open, families, students, and staff came together for the Siyum Sefer Torah of Bais Chaya Mushka and Cheder Menachem. The procession moved not only through streets, but through generations, children walking proudly, men singing, and a Torah carried with the kind of joy that can only be born of true achdus.
Fittingly, this sacred gathering took place as we entered the week of Parshas Yisro, the parsha of Matan Torah, a reminder that the Torah was given to us in the merit of our children, who stand as the guarantors of our eternal covenant.
There was song. There was dancing. There were hakafos, Niggunim with 8th Day lifting voices in song that carried a simple, powerful truth: the Torah belongs to all of us, and through it, we belong to each other. Differences faded, titles fell away, and what remained was a shared neshama, singing in unison.
It was a day of light—of children’s Torah, of deep Chassidishe simcha—a day that reminded us that when a community walks together behind the Torah, we are truly united.
With the inspiration of this unity, our schools are launching their campaign. Join the achdus. Help fuel the flame of chinuch on the West Coast.
Bais Chaya Mushka and Cheder Menachem are now in the midst of a fundraising campaign.
