A large crowd of Chassidim from the wider community of London joined the annual Meleva Malka Fabrengen for Yud Tes Kislev, with guest Mashpia, Reb Zushe Alperowitz of Kiryat Gat.

Reb Zusha was brought to London in honour of the occasion, and gave Shiurim and Fabrenged over Shabbos and Motzei Shabbos. Through these Shiurim and Fabrengens, Reb Zushe taught a deep understanding in Chassidus, presenting the deep concepts in a very clear and practical manner, bringing out the message of Chassidus to everyone in our generation.

The large-scale Fabrengens are unique, as they attract many people from all circles, who see this as their once-a-year opportunity to connect with Chassidus and come home with a deeper understanding of its ways.

Many people have a connection to Chabad and Chassidus in different ways, some through learning Tanya, others learn the weekly sichos which are distributed to the local Shuls, others join regular Shiurim, and yet others make use of the plethora of online sources of leading speakers in today’s Chabad world. The Meleva Malka fabrengen is a time to strengthen all of these activities, and has a year-long effect by all those who attend.

The Fabrengen lasted until late at night, lasting past 2 in the morning with the traditional seder of the Alter Rebbes nigun, followed by dancing.

The fabrengens were arranged by Rabbi Avremel Raskin, of Merkaz Letoras Haahassidus – London.
