A historic Siyum Harambam will unite communities across South America, and feature speakers from diverse communities alongside the Chief Rabbis of Israel.
The siyum, which will take place Wednesday night, will be addressed by shluchim and leading rabbonim from Argentina, Mexico, Panama, Uruguay, Venezuela and the rabbi of a Spanish speaking community in New York.
Also joining will be the Ashkenazi and Sefardi Chief Rabbis of Israel, and former Chief Rabbi Yisroel Meir Lau.
Behind the historic event was Chabad of Argentina and Chabad of Uruguay together with the ‘Shiurim’ App, a new platform for Chassidus in Spanish.
“What is unique about the siyum is the true achdus being expressed,” Shliach Rabbi Mendy Shemtov of Chabad Uruguay told Anash.org. “Not only are shluchim from so many countries collaborating on the siyum, but we are also being joined by prominent rabbonim from non Lubavitch communities.”
