In response to recent tragic events and in the spirit of Chanukah, N’shei Ubnos Chabad will host a global Zoom farbrengen titled “Turning Pain Into Purpose” on Wednesday evening, the fourth night of Chanukah, at 8:30 PM.

The online farbrengen will feature Rabbi Yosef Braun and will focus on transforming pain and darkness into light through increased holiness, mitzvos, and emunah. Organizers note that Chanukah is a time when light is increased not only in our homes, but throughout the world, serving as a powerful response to tragedy and suffering.

As part of the gathering, participants will be encouraged to take on meaningful hachlatos, including joining Chanukah farbrengens and public menorah lightings, engaging in Chanukah mivtzoim, giving Chanukah gelt, strengthening holiness in the home, and enhancing the observance of mitzvos, particularly those traditionally associated with women, such as candle lighting, kashrus, taharas hamishpacha, tznius, and chinuch.

Additional emphasis will be placed on strengthening emunah in the coming of Moshiach through learning inyanei Moshiach u’Geulah, and increasing in tzedakah.

The farbrengen will also include tefillos for the full and speedy recovery of the injured, and for Hashem to strengthen and comfort the families of the kedoshim, with the shared hope of witnessing the revelation of Moshiach now.
