Live: Mashpi’im and Chozrim Headline ’60 Years of Rashi Sichos’

Live at 8:00 PM ET: A special online broadcast event will tell the inside story of the Rebbe’s Rashi sichos, celebrating sixty years of ongoing study featuring Rabbi Leibel Schapiro, Rabbi Simon Jacobson, Rabbi Avrohom Gerlitzky, and Rabbi Avrohom Sternberg.

Anash and shluchim are invited to join a special online broadcast on Wednesday, 22 Elul, at 8 PM EST that celebrates sixty years of Rashi sichos.

Billed as “The Inside Story of the Rebbe’s Rashi Sichos” and organized by JLI’s Torah Studies, the event offers a chance to hear from several prominent mashpi’im and chozrim—namely, Rabbi Leibel Schapiro, Rabbi Simon Jacobson, Rabbi Avrohom Gerlitzky, and Rabbi Avrohom Sternberg—as they take the audience behind the scenes to get a deeper understanding of this critical area of the Rebbe’s Torah.

Set to stream live on YouTube, the program promises a rare look at the far-reaching significance of the Rebbe’s Rashi sichos, as the Chabad world celebrates sixty years since the Rebbe delivered his first sichah on Rashi in 5725. It’s a chance to hear how the Rebbe uncovered oceans of meaning in what, at first glance, appears to be a simple Rashi.
