Live at 4:00 PM Eastern Time: The levaya for Rabbi Avorhom Korf, head shliach to Florida for over 50 years, will pass 770 on the way to kevura near the Ohel.

The levaya for Rabbi Avorhom Korf, head shliach to Florida for over 50 years, began this morning in front of the Central Chabad House and Yeshiva building in Miami Beach, Florida, at 8:00 AM. From there, it proceeded to the Torah Ohr baalei teshuva yeshiva in North Miami Beach, and from there to the L.E.C. Campus, home to Florida’s Chabad educational institutions.

The aron is now headed to New York, where the levaya will continue. At 3:00 PM, there the aron will pass in front of 770, and at 4:00 PM, the kevura will take place near the Ohel.

Rabbi Korf is survived by his children, Rabbi Yossi Korf (Hollywood, FL), Mrs. Rashi Raices (Postville, Iowa), Mrs. Shevi Sossonko (Miami Beach, FL), Rabbi Benjy Korf (Miami Beach, FL), Mrs. Leah Jacobson (Crown Heights), R’ Mendy Korf (Miami Beach, FL), R’ Motty Korf (Miami Beach, FL), Rabbi Zalman Korf (Walnut Creek, FL), Ms. Sari Korf (Miami Beach, FL), grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
