Ba’al Menagen Rabi Menachem Amar released ‘The Poltava Nigun’, professionally redone, ahead of Gimmel Tammuz.

The Poltava Nigun (Nigun #45 in Sefer Nigunim, the Nigun of Rabbi Ya’akov Mordechai of Poltava) is a nigun in which Rabbi Ya’akov Mordechai would pray with “n’imus” and “dveikus” – tremoring within his soul. Rabbi Ya’akov Mordechai Bezpalov was the Rov of the city of Poltava and one of the well-known chassidim of the Rebbe Maharash and the Rebbe Rashab.

The song is a release from the upcoming album ‘Gaaguim 5’, an album of Chasidic melodies in the authentic style of yesteryear.

The first four albums can be streamed free on Chabad.org.
