Following the release of the bodies by Sydney authorities, Chabad Sydney is preparing for the levayos of the slain shluchim Rabbi Eli Schlanger HYD and Rabbi Yaakov Levitan HYD, who were murdered in the shocking shooting terror attack that took place during a public Chanuka gathering for the Jewish community at Bondi Beach.

The levaya of Rabbi Eli Schlanger HYD will take place tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11:00 AM (Sydney time – 7 PM Eastern Time) at Chabad of Bondi, 105 Wellington Street, Bondi.

Due to the large crowd expected, Wellington Street will be closed in the area surrounding Chabad of Bondi. Please allow extra time to arrive and follow all directions from NSW Police, security, and staff. A separate designated area will be available for kohanim. Following the service, a procession will take place to the cemetery for burial.

The levaya of Rabbi Yaakov Levitan HYD will take place tomorrow at 4:30 PM (Sydney time – 12:30 AM Eastern Time), listed for Macquarie Park, Sydney.
