Learning Program Raises the Bar of Learning for 770 Bochurim

The “Yissochor–Zevulun” program at the 770 yeshiva now includes 450 bochurim and the results are evident: from the hasmada seen during seder to the seriousness with which the bochurim approach their learning and tests.

Tens of thousands of dollars were once again distributed to bochurim in 770, marking another month of remarkable success for the expanding “Yissochor–Zevulun” program.

The numbers tell part of the story: 450 participating bochurim, hundreds of tests completed, and tens of thousands of dollars awarded. But behind those figures lies something far greater—a visible transformation in the atmosphere of learning throughout 770.

This year, in an unprecedented move, the organizers significantly expanded the program to include 450 bochurim, a major increase that reflects the growing relevance and impact of this unique initiative. The results are evident across every aspect of daily life in 770—from the hasmada seen during seder to the seriousness with which the bochurim approach their learning and tests.

Another month of the program concluded with impressive success. Once again, tens of thousands of dollars were distributed to participants, recognizing their dedication and consistent effort in Torah study.

Full attendance during learning hours, focused engagement during tests, and strong results across the board all point to one clear outcome: the bochurim involved in the program are using their time properly, with genuine hasmada and commitment. Hundreds of participants were tested across multiple tracks, clearly demonstrating the program’s powerful influence.

Following a careful review of all tests, the much-anticipated moment arrived. Last week, the monthly stipend distribution took place in 770, with eligible bochurim receiving their stipends in cash.

Special appreciation was expressed to the generous donors—the “Zevuluns”—whose support makes the program possible. Their partnership in Torah is a true one, and the merit they share is immeasurable.

What Is “Yissochor–Zevulun”?

The Yissochor–Zevulun program is designed to enable bochurim to learn with focus and peace of mind. Each participant selects a specific track of study, is tested at the end of the month, and can receive a stipend of up to $170 based on performance.

The program is supported by a team of knowledgeable testers and well-prepared review booklets that make the material accessible and manageable.

This year’s study tracks include:

  • Halacha Track: Chelek Alef of Alter Rebbe’s Shulchan Aruch
  • Hilchos Shabbos Track: Chelek Beis of Alter Rebbe’s Shulchan Aruch
  • Geulah U’Moshiach Track: Likkutei Sichos on Geulah and Moshiach, organized by topic
  • Chassidus Track: Hemshech Samech Vov in order
  • Girsa Track: Complete study of Maseches Bava Kama, along with Maseches Makkos

The initiative continues to gain momentum, with organizers already looking ahead to the coming month—anticipating even greater growth in both participation and commitment to learning.
