Leading Jewish Voices to Address CKids Parent Retreat
With the CKids International Shabbaton and JewQ Championship just days away, CKids has announced the speaker lineup for this year’s Parent Retreat, running parallel to the children’s action-packed weekend program.
With the CKids International Shabbaton and JewQ Championship just days away, CKids has announced the speaker lineup for this year’s Parent Retreat, running parallel to the children’s action-packed weekend program.
While their kids take part in trips, activities, and the JewQ International Championship, parents will join together for an inspiring Shabbos in Crown Heights with families from Chabad communities around the world.
The retreat features a lineup of prominent speakers, addressing pressing topics facing young Jewish families today. Headlining is Rabbi Efraim Mintz, founding director of the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute (JLI), one of the largest Jewish adult education networks in the world.
Also addressing parents will be Rabbi Shais Taub, known for making Chassidus practical and relevant to everyday life, and Rabbi David Nesenoff, a widely traveled speaker, author, and filmmaker who addresses Jewish identity and the challenges facing Jewish families today.
Rabbi Mordechai Dinerman, co-director of curriculum at JLI and lecturer, will bring his signature energy with engaging, thought-provoking presentations. along with a special performance by Jewish rapper and spoken word artist Ari Lesser
The CKids Shabbaton by CKids International, the world’s largest Jewish children’s network, brings together over a thousand children and parents from more than twenty-five countries. This year’s Shabbaton takes place March 20–22 in Crown Heights.
