For the first time, the esteemed ‘Kumzing’ performance, a combination of a kumzitz and concert which has become a mainstay in Eretz Yisroel, has made its way to America. Hosted at the luxurious Ritz Theatre, an impressive 3,000 people came together for an evening of unity and song.
The artistic lineup featured singers Naftali Kempeh and Shmueli Unger, with a special appearance by singer Mordechai Shapiro. The prestigious ‘Hamenagnim’ orchestra, under the baton of maestro Yehuda Galili, also arrived from Eretz Yisroel, especially for this event.
The show commenced with a melody honoring our brethren in Israel, followed by heartwarming renditions of popular hits.
The meticulous production was led by producer Shalom Wagshal and his counterpart, Shlomi Steinmetz. The event closed with a special Purim joyous medley and an announcement that it is just the beginning of more such events to come.
Photographer Dov Ber Hechtman presents a dazzling gallery from the event.
