The Shluchim Office has opened registration for this year’s Kinus Tzeirei Hashluchos and announced the theme that will be the focus of the weekend.

Each year, running parallel to the Kinus, a thousand Young Shluchos gather for a Kinus of their own, enjoying trips, shows, Farbrengens, delicious food, prizes, fun activities, a visit to the Ohel, a grand banquet, and a chance to spend invaluable time with fellow Young Shluchos from around the world.

In addition to all the traditional highlights that Kinus Tzeirei Hashluchos brings each year, the organizers shared that there are some exciting new updates in the works. With just a month remaining until their arrival in New York, the theme of the children’s convention has been announced.

This year the Kinus will be focused on the concept of וְנִפְלִינוּ, based on the posuk:

(ונפלינו אני ועמך מכל העם אשר על פני האדמה” (שמות לג, ט”ז…”

“…Then I and Your people will be distinguished from every [other] nation on the face of the earth.”

The Shluchim are distinguished and given a special opportunity to live a life completely dedicated to bringing Yidden closer to Yiddishkeit. This also comes with a corresponding responsibility.

In עשה טוב: Every moment of the day she is dedicated to the Rebbe’s mission – what can I do today to help another Yid come closer to Yiddishkeit? She lives her day to day life on a higher plateau.

And in סור מרע: A Shliach of the Rebbe has standards that are not the same as everyone else. There are things that might be technically “ok” or allowed according to the letter of the law, but as someone who carries the name of the Rebbe everywhere, a Shliach’s standards are even higher.

DATES

The program begins on Friday morning, 19 Shevat / February 14th, and concludes Sunday evening, 21 Shevat / February 16th.

There is an optional daytime program as well for Thursday, 18 Shevat / February 13th for those who come from out of town.
