Participants of the Toras Chaim Gemara Program in Kingston, PA, who recently finished mesechta Megilah gathered to celebrate the siyum and to begin the new mesechta – Moed Katan.
The Toras Chaim program, a project of Merkoz Halacha, is tailored for business people and offers a monetary incentive. The program was designed to make consistent learning easy and achievable. Learn 1 amud per day, 5 days per week. Over 100 Anash across the country are members in the program.
The event in Kingston was MC’d by Rabbi Shloimy Sirota, shliach to Back Mountain, PA. Rabbi Mendel Zajac, a local melamed, made the siyum on Mesechta Megilah, and Rabbi Mendy Cheruff began the new mesechta, Moed Katan. Harav Gedalya Oberlander, Mara D’Asra and dean of the organization, addressed the crowd.
