After a huge fire broke out Friday night at a dormitory of the University of Bolton, Rabbi Shmuli Brown, shliach to Chabad of Liverpool Universities, arranged a drive in which students donated crucial items for students who lost everything in the fire.
Over a dozen bags filled up quickly with clothing, linen, blankets, toiletries and other necessities and were delivered personally by the shliach and accompanying students.
“[It’s] unbelievable hearing first hand from students who were affected by the Bolton fire,” Rabbi Brown messaged, “and seeing the joy in their eyes upon receiving donations from so many people… It’s the greatest feeling- helping others.”
