‘Kabbalahtoon’ Returns with New Series on the Twelve Pesukim
The beloved animated series Kabbalahtoon is back with a new family member, a new video, and a new look. The timing is significant: this year marks the 50th anniversary of the Rebbe’s launch of the Twelve Pesukim.
The beloved animated series Kabbalahtoon is back with a new family member, a new video, and a new look!
First launched on Chabad.org/Video in 2006 by Rabbi Tzvi Freeman, the series was created with a mission to distill the profound teachings of Kabbalah and Chassidus into short, accessible content that even a child — or a childlike adult — could understand and incorporate into their lives.
The original series featured an endearing cast of characters, including the wise Rabbi Infinity, his granddaughter Miri, and the lovable pet robot Feivel, bringing deep spiritual ideas to life through animation and humor.
Now, Kabbalahtoon returns with a brand-new video exploring Torah Tziva. The timing is significant: this year marks the 50th anniversary of the Rebbe’s launch of the Twelve Pesukim, chosen to because they convey essential Torah truths in a form children can genuinely absorb and carry with them.
“The Twelve Pesukim dovetail perfectly with KabbalahToons,” says Rabbi Menachem Posner, managing editor at Chabad.org. “The project is all about taking the deepest, loftiest Torah truths and bringing them down into the simplest of terms and images.”
