Hundreds of Anash and bochurim gathered in 770 Tuesday night for a farbrengen celebrating the Alter Rebbe’s release from Czarist prison, beginning a new era in spreading the wellsprings of Chassidus.

Hundreds of Anash and bochurim gathered in 770 Tuesday night for a farbrengen celebrating the Alter Rebbe’s release from Czarist prison, beginning a new era in spreading the wellsprings of Chassidus.

The farbrengen began with a siyum on Shas and Tanya conducted by the Rabbonim of Crown Heights, Harav Avrohom Osdoba and Harav Yosef Braun. Followed by Rabbi Michoel Golomb who taught a ma’amar of the Rebbe.

The farbrengen was then addressed by Rabbi Mendel Blau, Rabbi Shlomo Majeski, Rabbi Sholom Shapiro and Rabbi Chaim Yisroel Wilhelm. The MC was Rabbi Nissim Lagziel.

Following the official program, a crown dispersed into smaller farbrengen, continuing throughout the night.
