A Chassidisher and “LitvisherRov will lead together .

At the levaya of Bnei Brak Rov Harav Moshe Landa an announcement was made by Mayor Avrohom Rubinstein that it was decided “al pi daas rabbonim, admorim veRoshei yeshiva” that two Rabbonim will be appointed to be in charge of kashrus and other religious and Rabbinical services in the city. They are Rav Yakov Yitzchok Eizik Landa and Rav Shevach Tzvi Rosenblatt. Rav Landa is a son of Rav Moshe Landa, and until recently was a mashpia in the yeshiva in Tzfas. Rav Rosenblatt is a respected dayan, with close ties to Rav Chaim Kanievski. It’s well-known how the Rebbe fought in 5746/1986 that Rav Moshe Landa should succeed his father. The appointment of Rav Eizik Landa definitely will cause nachas ruach to the Rebbe.
