Iran Fires Missiles Into Israel, Entire Country in Bomb Shelters

Close to 200 ballistic missiles were sent from Iran into Eretz Yisroel. The only reported casualty is an Arab from Gaza who entered the country illegally. Israel plans a “significant and harsh” response tonight.

Update at 1:15 PM ET:

Close to 200 missiles sent from Iran into Eretz Yisroel. No reports of any injuries.

Reports are emerging of a Palestinian from Gaza who illegally infiltrated into Israel being killed when one of the missiles landed in Yericho – making a Palestinian the only reported casualty of the massive aerial attack.

Update at 1:05 PM ET:

“Iran’s attack is continuing. You are requested to remain in a protected space until further notice. The explosions you are hearing are from interceptions or fallen projectiles,” the IDF says in a statement. “The Aerial Defense Array is currently identifying and intercepting launches.”

Ben Gurion Airport has been shut, and all incoming flights have been diverted.

An Israeli official has told Kan that the response against Iran will be “harsh.”

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said in a statement that Iran had launched ballistic missiles on Israel in response to the recent Israeli assassinations of several Hezbollah leaders, including the group’s secretary general, Hassan Nasrallah. It said it would launch more attacks if Iran was attacked.

Update at 12:50 ET:

The IDF says ballistic missiles have been launched from Iran at Israel. It takes approximately 10-12 minutes for them to fly from Iran to Israel – unless they are intercepted or fail before then.

Initial reports say that at least 102 ballistic missiles were launched in this first wave, and that there may be more missiles coming. The entire Israeli population has been ordered into bomb shelters.

There are unconfirmed reports of direct hits in Tel Aviv, Yerushalayim, and other areas.

Update at 12:30 ET: Ballistic missiles have been launched from Iran at Israel, and the entire country has been ordered into bomb shelters.

Update at 12:12 ET:

Maneuver into Lebanon:

The IDF revealed that special forces have been carrying out quiet missions in Lebanon, undetected, since the beginning of the war. They successfully pushed most of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan forces back, which now allowed larger troops to enter easily last night, with little to no resistance. Troops will focus on locating and destroying tunnels which couldn’t be done undetected before.

The IDF also revealed that Hezbollah had been planning an attack days after October 7th, and were well prepared to take over the entire Galilee. Thank G-d, this was prevented.

Hezbollah is now firing occasional missiles at the Tel Aviv area, but in small numbers at a time. Residents of the area are instructed to remain near shelter.

Iranian Attack:

About two hours ago, the U.S. warned Israel that Iran is planning to attack Israel within 12 hours. The attack is likely to include ballistic missiles. Nothing has been launched yet.

Israel has emphasized that of Iran attacks, they will respond with heavy attacks within Iran.

PM Netanyahu warned that difficult days are ahead. Pray for the safety of Israel and our soldiers, and the success of the IDF. May our leaders have the strength and faith in G-d to get rid of the head of the snake, the Iranian regime, and end their reign of terror.
