The iconic wooden front door of 770 was reinstalled Tuesday night after being taken for repairs and restoration last week.
The door underwent extensive rehabilitation that was finished with a bright new coating of shellac.
The work was overseen by Rabbi Chaim Boruch Halberstam of Vaad Bedek Habayis of 770, with the help of Rabbi Yossi Rabkin.
