A large Yud Shevat farbrengen was held Tuesday night at the Chabad Lubavitch Center in Houston, marking 76 years since the histalkus of the Frierdiker Rebbe and the Rebbe’s nesius.

The farbrengen featured guest speaker Rabbi Yosef Greenberg, Head Shliach of Alaska, who addressed the crowd hiskashrus to the Rebbe, and on the period between the histalkus of the Frierdiker Rebbe and the Rebbe’s kabalas hanesius, which he covered in his sefer Yemei Bereishis. Also farbrenging was Texas Head Shliach Rabbi Shimkeh Lazaroff.

The official program began at 8:00 PM CT for men, women, and children from across the community. A chassidishe farbrengen followed, continuing well past midnight, concluding at around 2:30 AM.

A portion of the farbrengen was also broadcast online, where it was watched by many more around the world.
