The IDF reservist from Kfar Chabad, a Chabad Chassid and father of seven, who was injured last week during an operational mission in the Arab village of Rumana – when a terrorist stabbed him in the back – was released from the hospital yesterday.
“He experienced a great miracle this week,” said those close to him.
The incident took place on the outskirts of the village of Rumana, under the Menashe Brigade’s jurisdiction. According to the IDF Spokesperson, “During an operational activity of an IDF force in the village of Rumana in the Menashe Brigade, a terrorist stabbed an IDF soldier and moderately wounded him.”
The injured soldier is a father of seven, a reservist in Battalion 941, and a graduate of the Netzach Yehuda program. During the mission, a terrorist surprised him from behind and stabbed him. Despite the sudden attack and his injuries, the soldier acted with remarkable presence of mind, turned, and immediately neutralized the terrorist.
The rest of the unit secured the area and confirmed there were no additional threats. A military helicopter was dispatched to evacuate the soldier to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.
With the help of Hashem, he has now finally returned home.
