The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for much of the Northeast and Midwest from Friday through Wednesday.
Temperatures in the Northeast are expected to reach the lower to middle 90s, but with high humidity, it will feel like its near 100 degrees from Washington D.C. to Philadelphia, New York City.
According to the NWS, hot and humid weather will arrive Shabbos and stick around until Tuesday. The heat index is expected to climb close to 100 Sunday and Monday, and could even reach 105.
Other parts of the country will be hit as well. Parts of the South was heat indices near 110 degrees Thursday, the Midwest will experience heat indices greater than 105 degrees on Shabbos and Sunday,
Make sure all of your fans and air conditioners are properly set before Shabbos.
