Harav Avraham Osdoba, member of the Crown Heights Beis Din and hanhala member in the Yeshiva in 770, marked his 85th birthday on Monday with little fanfare, receiving an aliya at a nearby ‘block minyan’.

Harav Avraham Osdoba, member of the Crown Heights Beis Din and hanhala member in the Yeshiva in 770, marked his 85th birthday on Monday with little fanfare.
To fulfill the Rebbe’s directives for a birthday, he came to a nearby ‘block minyan’ where he received an aliya while wearing a mask and keeping social distancing. Following his aliya, participants of the minyan wished him long and healthy years.
Anash.org would like to wish Harav Osdoba arichus yomim v’shonim tovos. As the Rebbe would wish rabbonim, “ya’arich yomim al mamlachto” and may he merit many more years of learning, teaching and spreading Torah, and may he merit to greet Moshiach speedily in our days!
