Chassidim worldwide will make Chof Av with a day of learning, lectures, and Farbrengens celebrating the life, teachings and legacy of Harav Levi Yitzchok Schneerson.
Commemorating the 76th yahrzeit of Harav Levi Yitzchok, the Rebbe’s father, Merkos 302 has organized a day of learning, lectures, and farbrengens, celebrating his life, teachings and legacy.
The broadcast is open virtually to Shluchim, Anash, and Mekurovim worldwide and will take place at chofav.com next Monday, on Chof Av (August 10).
The program will feature an array of sessions starting with a Chassidus shiur in the morning, going onto videos of the Rebbe, a documentary of Harav Levi Yitzchok’s life, shiurim on his teachings, panels, firsthand accounts, and a presentation by the Jewish Learning Institute (JLI).
The day will culminate in a family-friendly grand farbrengen, with four live streams in English, Hebrew, Russian and Spanish, featuring noted mashpiim and Shluchim including Rabbis Moshe Kotlarsky, Leibel Schapiro, Yossi Jacobson, Shais Taub, Berel Lazar, Mendel Feller, Dovid Dubov, Efraim Mintz, and more with niggunim led by the inimitable Avraham Fried.
The Rebbe said that it’s a zechus and chova, privilege and obligation, to learn Harav Levi Yitzchok’s teachings on the day of his yahrzeit. This program aims to highlight the life, teachings and legacy of Harav Levi Yitzchok and apply the lessons to our daily lives.
