The ‘Barcheinu Anivu’ international Gimmel Tammuz broadcast will highlight the Maamar V’atah Tetzaveh through Six short and enlightening presentations on the maamar.
Purim Katan 5752 is forever engraved in the Chabad calendar. After davening Shachris on that day, the Rebbe made a special request from the mazkirim as he was going to visit the Ohel of the Frierdiker Rebbe.
The Rebbe requested to quickly print copies of the Maamar titled “V’atah Tetzaveh” that was said on Shabbos Parshas Tetzaveh 5741 for distribution to Chassidim.
Thousands of copies were quickly printed and tucked into plastic holders. As the news began to spread that the Rebbe will be personally handing out the booklet, Chassidim from all over rushed to 770 Eastern Parkway.
Each received the booklet, along with 2 dollar bills for tzedakah and a piece of ‘lekach’ honeycake. It was an outstanding event and also the very last one as it happened shortly before Chof Zayin Adar.
Ever since, Maamar V’atah Tetzaveh has been accepted by Chassidim as the Rebbe’s gift to help them navigate the trying times ahead.
The maamar explains how the Jewish leader assists the Jew in strengthening, nurturing and internalizing the neshama’s essential faith.
This year, this maamar will be highlighted during the international broadcast “Barcheinu Anivu – a special hiskashrus” making Gimmel Tammuz this Wednesday, at 2:45 PM Eastern Time.
6 short and enlightening presentations on the maamar will be delivered during the historic online event bringing together thousands of Chassidim from around the world:
