Rabbi Akiva Wagner, the beloved Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Lubavitch Toronto, has been unwell the last few years with a terrible illness which has limited his involvement in the Yeshiva.
Unfortunately in the last few weeks, Rabbi Wagner’s Condition has taken a turn and is in need of a big yeshuah.
As we approach Rabbi Wagner’s 55th birthday this Sunday, 16 Iyar, the bochurim of Yeshivas Lubavitch Toronto have taken on an initiative to make a worldwide Tefillin campaign in the merit of his complete recovery.
The goal is to reach 5,500 Tefillin’s over this weekend, from Thursday, 13 Iyar – May 4th until Monday, 17 Iyar – May 8th May.
“We turn to all to take part in this initiative and help us reach our goal,” the organizers said.
“May all these mitzvos bring about a full and speedy recovery and the coming of Moshiach now!”
