Four Tanks Lead Record-Breaking Mivtzoim in Melbourne

This Chanukah, the bochurim of Melbourne went out with tremendous Chayus and Lebedikeit to spread the light of Chanukah across the city with Mivtzoim Tanks. Four Chanukah Tanks were sent out, with bochurim from Grades 7 and 8, as well as Mesivta and YG. Each tank drove throughout the city, bringing Yiddishkeit to hundreds of Yidden throughout Melbourne.

Over the days of Chanukah, the bochurim reached an incredible number of people. More than 300 pairs of tefillin were put on with Yidden, many of whom were deeply moved by the experience, including 8+ who never put on tefillin before. In addition, over 500 menorahs were distributed, ensuring that hundreds of homes would be lit with the warmth and light of Chanukah.

Beyond the impressive numbers, the true success of the Mivtzoim was the dedication and mesirus nefesh of the bochurim. long hours put into the preparation, with the bochurim going out with enthusiasm, joy, and a strong sense of shlichus, fulfilling the Rebbe’s call to spread the light of Chanukah to every corner.

This Chanukah Mivtzoim was a powerful demonstration of what bochurim can accomplish when working together with a shared goal to bring light, warmth, and Yiddishkeit to Melbourne.

Special thanks to the Mitzva Tank Office, led by Sholom Schreiber, Yosef Yitzchok Lipskier, and Mendel Aron.
