While in New York on a diplomatic trip, Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa’ar visited the Rebbe’s Ohel on Tuesday afternoon. There, he davened for the success of the soldiers, the immediate return of the hostages, and the safety of the Jewish people worldwide.
He was accompanied by Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky of Merkos 302, Rabbi Yosef Carlebach, and Rabbi Mendy Carlebach of New Jersey.
This visit is part of a long and increasingly common tradition of Israeli politicians making it a point to stop at the Rebbe’s Ohel during trips to New York or the U.S. Just a day earlier, Transportation Minister Miri Regev also paid a visit, continuing the pattern of Israeli officials stopping at the Ohel.
