At the Kosel on Tish B’Av, Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz of Chabad of Southwest Florida met with and conveyed appreciation to Knesset Member and Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Michael Huckabee for their steadfast support of Eretz Yisroel’s security.

At the Kosel on Tisha B’Av, Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz, Shliach of Chabad Lubavitch of Southwest Florida, met with Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Michael Huckabee. He took the opportunity to thank both of them for their unwavering support of the safety and security of Eretz Yisroel.

The encounter with Minister Ben Gvir took place near Shaar HaKutanah, by the entrance to Har HaBayis, where many joined together for heartfelt tefillos and the reading of Megillas Eicha. The somber setting of the Kosel on Tisha B’Av, reflecting the pain of Churban, was uplifted with unity and hope for geulah.

The U.S. Ambassador’s visit for Mincha served as an expression of solidarity. Rabbi Minkowicz welcomed the ambassador and expressed appreciation for his support for Eretz Yisroel.

Mincha was followed by heartfelt singing, as the crowd poured out their tefillos for the return of the hostages, lasting peace in Eretz Yisroel, and the rebuilding of the Beis Hamikdash with the coming of Moshiach.
