In Show of Support, County Proclaims Jewish Heritage Month

Lee County, Florida commissioners presented shliach Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz with a proclamation for Jewish Heritage Month as a show of support for Eretz Yisroel and the Jewish Community of Southwest Florida.

At an overflowing crowd Proclamation Ceremony, Lee County, Florida Commissioners presented the clergy and Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz of Chabad Lubavitch of Southwest Florida a proclamation proclaiming their strong support for Eretz Yisroel and the Jewish Community of Southwest Florida with June being the Jewish Heritage Month.

Rabbi Minkowicz thanked the commissioners for creating a peaceful community for all to live and enjoy.

After the ceremony, Rabbi Minkowicz put on Tefillin with the Jewish community that came out for the event right outside the county building on the Front Lawn.
