Torah Nears Completion on Boruch Thaler’s First Yahrtzeit
In honor of the first yahrtzeit of Hatomim Baruch Thaler a”h, friends and acquaintances are encouraged to help complete a special Torah being written in his zechus.
Vov Cheshvan marks one year since the passing of Hatomim Baruch Thaler a”h.
The family would like to use this opportune time to share about a unique project initiated during Shloshim and hopes to complete it in honor of his Yartzeit.
Shortly before his passing, when Baruch was too ill to go to shul, a local community member generously loaned his personal Torah for Baruch to use on Simchas Torah. This kind gesture allowed him to celebrate his most treasured Yom Tov in a truly meaningful way. After Baruch passed away, it sparked an idea to give back to the community and create a Sefer Torah that would be geared for such situations.
In the spirit of Baruch’s love for Torah learning, his exceptional כיבוד אב ואם and profound אהבת ישראל towards all types of people, particularly those in poor health, they began the writing of a portable Sefer Torah at his Shloshim gathering.
This special Torah will be made available to home-bound and hospitalized patients in the community through Bikur Cholim of Crown Heights.
Giving tzedaka on the yartzeit is an added zechus for the עליית נשמה of ברוך בנימין בן יבלחט״א ר׳ צבי.
Please consider participating in this special mitzvah and contribute toward its swift completion.
Thank you!
