Family Begins Writing Rivka’s Torah

By Anash.org reporter

The family of Rivka Koncepolski a”h who tragically passed away this week at the age of 18 months, began writing a new Sefer Torah in her memory.

Friend and family gathered Thursday morning at the home of her parents Rabbi Mendy and Dobi Koncepolski, Shluchim in S. Paulo, Brazil, to write the first letters in the Torah.

“Shock and pain ripped through our lives just 48 hours ago, when our beautiful little girl, Rivka z”l, prematurely left this world at the tender age of 18 months,” Rabbi and Mrs. Koncepolski wrote.

“Please join us in creating this eternal legacy in her memory,” they asked.

Upon completion, the Sefer Torah will be placed at Yeshiva Lubavitch, Sao Paulo, where Rivka’s father serves as administrator and her grandfather, Rabbi Shamai Ende, serves as Rosh Yeshiva.

Those wishing to participate in the writing of the Torah scroll can do so here.
