A grand farbrengen, attended by family members, friends, and Crown Heights residents celebrated the 40th birthday of Rabbi Moshe Raitport.
Rabbi Raitport serves as the rov of the Beinoni Shul in Crown Heights, and stands at the helm of the Kollel headed by his father Rabbi Yitzchok Raitport in Boro Park. He is well known in the Crown Heights community for his activism and for the assistance he offers to many community members.
Among those attending were Rabbi Shlomo Zarchi, mashpia in Tomchei Tmimim 770; Rabbi Tuviah Kasimov, moreh tzedek in Crown Heights; Rabbi Mendy Hershkop, maggid shiur in Oholei Torah Mesivta and Crown Heights Shomrim coordinator; Rabbi Yaacov Behrman, Crown Heights activist; Rabbi Yoel Chazan, principal of Cheder Menachem Kingston; Rabbi Lazer Avtzon, activist and rov of the Merkaz Sfard Shul; and many classmates of Rabbi Raitport.
