On the first night of Chanukah, families gathered for an evening of celebration at the Jewish Children’s Museum’s “Chanukah on the Parkway.” The event, held from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, drew a sizable crowd who marked the beginning of Chanukah with a heartwarming gathering.
The evening began with tefillos for the safety of Eretz Yisroel, accompanied by fresh donuts and chocolate gelt, bringing the sweetness of Chanukah to all attendees. Live music filled the air, as men and boys danced together.
The highlight of the evening was the lighting of the menorah and a rally led by Rabbi Yossi Bryski.
