The new Lamternshtick initiative for Anash families in Crown Heights has seen great success, with many stopping by their unofficial pop-up shop in the Raskin’s Fish alleyway. Families received menorah kits, candles, guides, and family-friendly routes, fulfilling the Rebbe’s call to be lamplighters, spreading the light of Chanukah to all.
The goal of Lamternshtick is to make it possible for regular Crown Heights families to participate in mivtzoim in a practical, organized, and dignified way. You can set aside the time and manage family logistics, and we will handle the rest. From menorahs to donuts, to providing organized lists of Yidden who might not have the same Chanukah experience without your participation, we make it easy for you to spread light and warmth.
Set aside one night to share the light with your family and bring joy to those who need it most!
Location: Office at the entrance to the alleyway at Raskin’s Fish, 4:00-7:00 PM every day of Chanukah.
