A sharav heatwave is expected in Israel on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, with temperatures in Yerushalayim expected to near 100F.
Temperatures around Israel on Monday and Tuesday should be seasonal, but a sharp increase is expected for Wednesday, with an extremely high heat-stress index and oppressive conditions in some areas. A light drizzle may also be felt in the north during the morning hours.
