‘Education Day’ Proclaimed in Ohio by the Governor
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval signed proclamations designating the Rebbe’s birthday on Yud Alef Nisan as Education Day for the state and city.
A group of local Shluchim and talmidim joined Rabbi Gershon Avtzon, of Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati, for a visit to City Hall of Cincinnati.
At city hall, they met with local members of the city council and received the “Education Day” proclamation, which was personally signed by Mayor Aftab Puravel in honor of 11 Nissan. They then continued to visit the local municipalities and received other proclamations from local mayors.
These proclamations join the main proclamation from the Governor of Ohio, Mr. Mike Dewine.
