Sections of Eastern Parkway will be closed to traffic on Sunday between 2:00 am and 2:00 pm due to the Brooklyn half marathon. Significant traffic delays should be expected.
On Sunday, April 23, the Crown Heights section of Eastern Parkway will be closed from Flatbush Ave to Kingston Ave will be closed to traffic due to the Brooklyn Half Marathon.
Closures will begin at 2:00 am and until 2:00 pm, residents should anticipate significant traffic due to multiple street closures.
The 13.1-mile run starts in McCarren Park and goes along Manhattan, Greenpoint, Franklin, and Kent Avenues before continuing to snake through the borough and ultimately ending in Prospect Park. So, expect to see street closures and express caution when crossing the street.
